The theme for Keng Day 2023 was “Keng Goes Hollywood” and featured a walk on the red carpet, celebrity look-alike contest, movie premier, game show battle rooms, and movie trivia challenge.

Keng Day 2022 was a “Best of Keng Day” theme which featured some of the most popular events from past Keng Days. This included life size Mario Kart, an American Gladiators Assault course, giant foosball, and game show battle rooms.

Keng Day 2021 occurred as life was sorta but not quite back to normal after Covid so it was held outdoors. We had a Halloween theme and event included a costume contest, mummy wrapping race, pumpkin carving contest, and virtual game show battle rooms.

2020 was the Covid year, and despite lockdowns, we knew that Keng Day must go on. Instead of in person like normal, we held Keng Day virtually! It featured the proclamation and song via Teams, virtual game show battle rooms, and a talent show!

Keng Day 2019 featured a Halloween theme and included a haunted house, costume contest, scary movie trivia, and pie eating contest.

The theme for Keng Day 2018 was 90’s — it featured a 90’s themed costume contest, human billiards, Mario Kart 64 tournament, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles bounce house, 90’s trivia, and 90’s themed karaoke contest.

We had a Nintendo theme for Keng Day 2017 which included real life Mario Kart in our office with adult bigwheels, arcade games, old school Nintendo Power Pad, etc.

American Gladiators was the theme for Keng Day 2016. We had several games from the iconic show including Assault, Joust, and Powerball.

We had an Olympic theme for Keng Day 2015. We had a torch relay that began in Anchorage, Alaska and ended in our office in Golden Valley. There were medals awarded for events such as synchronized swimming.

The Minnesota State Fair was the theme for Keng Day 2024. We had fresh mini donuts, snow cones, Sweet Martha’s Cookie Jar, carnival games and human foosball in our office.
